Q&A with Dr. Craig
If you weren't a vet? I would either test drive race cars, or design jewelry!
Fave way to relax when not caring for animals? Making things with my hands...I love to see something and figure out how to reconstruct it (usually upcycling objects to do this)! In 2020 with COVID interfering in our lives, I had free time to explore my creative side. I started For Pet's Sake where I do custom designs for people, and donate the proceeds to animal rescue groups. This makes my brain and my heart so happy!
If you could travel anywhere in the world? I would go to Africa on safari. It's my dream to see the big cats, giraffes, and elephants in the wild! I WILL get there someday...

Q&A with Dr. Nankman
What inspired you to work with animals? Growing up on a farm meant spending a lot of time caring for animals; both small and large; domesticated and wildlife. This instilled and urge and want to help animals lead better lives and give their humans more
Best part of your day at Easton Animal Hospital? Working with the local cat rescue Nat's Cats. Helping strays and ferals live better lives by vaccinating and spaying/neutering along with giving adoptable kittens a good start in life. Working with a rescue makes such an impact.
Fave way to relax? Relax, what is that? Always on the move. Cycling (accomplished ultra-endurance gravel and mountain bike racer), hiking, and camping all over North America and horsebacking riding locally with friends and family.

Go to comfort food? Mac and cheese, heavy on the cheese.

Q&A with Dr. Titcher
If you weren’t a veterinarian, what would your dream job be? I'm really into mythology and love to read so likely would be working at a university doing research on that or an archeology aspect.
Do you have a favorite breed or type of animal to work with? Cat: Sphynx. I love the hairless. They are so fun.
Dog: While I don't technically have a favorite dog breed, I tend to work with most of the Greyhounds that we see. They have their own unique makeup and require different protocols for some treatments and anesthesia as compared to other breeds so their uniqueness is interesting to me.
If you could travel anywhere in the world? I would go to Scotland. After some research, I learned that my family once owned a castle. It still stands today and I would love to visit and walk through the halls where so much history lies…...

Q&A with Barb
What inspired you to work at an animal hospital? That’s easy. I absolutely love animals. every day is different. You are constantly learning. Although it’s challenging at times, it is a very rewarding career.
One thing you wish Pet owners knew? How emotionally invested we are in their pets. We see a lot of sadness and many of us take it home with us. However, we also see a lot of joy and we get to share in that as well. It is a balancing act.

Do you have any pets of your own? Tell us about them! Kit: 10 year old Female spayed Cattle dog mix that I acquired in New Mexico at a spay/neuter clinic when she was 2 months ago. We lovingly refer to her as my New Mexican Almost Hairless dog because she has genetic alopecia which makes her look like a fox that is getting over mange. She got her name because she looked like a fox cub when she was a puppy.
Topaz: 1 year old female spayed black DSH. She was taken from a non-ideal living situation and happened to be hanging out at EAH for a day before going to a foster home. I happened to stop by on a day off and fell in love with her since. We had just lost one of our cats 6 months prior. She and kit are good friends and love to play/wrestle with each other. She was named by EAH because of the color of her eyes and it just stuck with us.
